Video: Employees Take a Stroll With President Hart
During a sunny lunchtime on Tuesday, President Ann Weaver Hart took time to walk and talk with University employees as part of UA Life & Work Connections' Walks With Campus Leaders series.
The program gives campus community members an opportunity to get some fresh air and exercise while chatting with University leaders from across campus in an informal setting. Other participants in this semester's series so far have included UA College of Engineering Dean Jeff Goldberg and Assistant Vice President of Facilities Management Chris Kopach. "We really appreciate President Hart coming out today and leading this walk and taking time from her very busy schedule and leading by example here on campus," said Jodi Charvoz, a Life & Work Connections nutrition and fitness counselor. "She's been a real champion of our employee wellness and Life & Work Connections program and how that enables employees to work better, more creatively and productively."
During the 25-minute walk, which began outside the Administration building and looped around Old Main, Hart took time to chat with some of more than a dozen employees who participated in the walk.
