MISUSE OF UNIVERSITY ASSETS POLICY
and
Notice of Policy Repeal:
USE of UNIVERSITY PROPERTY POLICY
Pursuant to the authority established by Arizona Board of Regents Policy No. 1-201, et seq., and the University of Arizona’s policy on University Policy-making, the following actions are proposed:
ADOPTION OF MISUSE OF UNIVERSITY ASSETS POLICY
REPEAL OF USE OF UNIVERSITY PROPERTY POLICY
SUMMARY: The Misuse of University Assets Policy defines and delineates responsibilities relating to the misuse of University assets and establishes protocols for reporting and handling of incidents involving alleged or actual misuse of University assets.
The approved revisions to the Misuse of University Assets Policy updates the policy to promote the detection and prevention of misuse of University assets, simplify and clarify existing policy statements, and establish clear procedures for reporting, investigation, post-investigation and disciplinary actions. Frequently asked questions were also included to clarify common questions.
The Use of University Property Policy is being repealed as it predates the Misuse of University Assets Policy.
The Misuse of University Assets Policy is available on the University Policies website.
The Use of University Property Policy is repealed and posted under the Repealed Policies list on the University Policies website.
