The Student Transformative Experiences to Progress Under-represented Professionals (STEP-UP) summer research program is looking for outstanding junior and senior undergraduate and master's level students from diverse backgrounds to participate in a paid12-week transformative research experience in cancer prevention and control. Applications for summer 2022 are now open. 

STEP-UP is a multidisciplinary research training program led by the Cancer Prevention and Control and Health Disparities Programs' faculty at the University of Arizona Cancer Center. The program runs from May 16 to August 5, 2022. During that time, trainees will complete a research immersion with a faculty member or community partner, learn research method skills, train in literature reviews and participate in journal club, and much more.
