Camp Architecture
Registration for the College of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture's CAMP Architecture is now open! These one-week summer day camps are designed for middle school and high school students who are interested in learning about sustainability and careers in the design professions. Give your budding Frank Lloyd Wright a unique glimpse into the world of architecture and register today!
These summer day-programs for students are fun and educational. While learning about sustainability and careers in the design professions, participants learn to draw (by hand and on the computer), construct models (in the School's Materials Lab), and test structural models (by destroying them in a HI-TECH compression instrument). Taught by the inspiring young architect Ryan Repucci, an Assistant Lecturer at the School of Architecture, students will get a unique glimpse into the world of design while acquiring skills unavailable outside of a college setting.
Designed for middle school and high school students, CAMP Architecture is a five-day sequence of highly orchestrated workshops.
