Subject: New Member Recruitment for Tuition Residency Review Committee
Date: Jul 05, 2022

The Office of the Registrar is seeking University employees interested in providing service to the University community by participating on the Residency Review Committee for the 2022-2023 academic year in support of the residency classification for tuition purposes process. A student’s residency classification determines if a student is billed at the in-state or out-of-state tuition rate.

The committee reviews cases in accordance with Arizona Board of Regents policy and consists of employees representing various departments on campus. Typically, a committee member will spend no more than 10 hours of review throughout the semester, with meetings being either in person or on Zoom.

Employees interested in engaging with the larger University community and providing a valuable service to our students can fill out this interest form by July 20 to be considered for committee placement. The 3-hour training for returning and new committee members will be in early August and available in person and via Zoom. Lunch will be provided for the in-person attendees.
