Office for Research & Discovery
September 5, 2014

The Office for Research & Discovery announces a redesigned and expanded Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Program along with the fall schedule of RCR workshops.

I. Responsible Conduct of Research Program

The Office for Research & Discovery is pleased to announce a redesigned and expanded Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Program and the fall 2014 workshop schedule. The new RCR Program is designed to provide student, postdoctoral, and faculty researchers with high quality, flexible, funding-specific means of fulfilling federal RCR training requirements and staying abreast of evolving best practices and ethical standards for research and scholarship across all academic disciplines.

Several key features of the program are an extensive workshop series, a curriculum-based and funding-specific certification process, and a growing collection of online resources and RCR teaching aids housed on the Research Gateway website: http://rgw.arizona.edu/rcr

II. Fall 2014 Workshop Schedule

Over the course of a full academic year, the workshop series will address the core subject areas of RCR. These interactive sessions are led by faculty and/or compliance program officers and are open to the entire campus community. Please enroll in the workshops in advance. The spring 2015 workshop schedule will be announced in October.
