Participants Needed for Research Study on Alternative Treatment for Major Depression

The University of Arizona is looking for participants for a research study on the effects of an alternative procedure on Major Depressive Disorder. Participants will experience different levels of whole-body infrared heating (whole body hyperthermia or WBH). This study will examine WBH's effects on your depression, how you relate to other people in your environment and how you spend your time in general. You will receive compensation for your time.

ELIGIBILITY

  • 18-65 years old
  • Medically healthy
  • Currently experiencing major depression for at least four weeks
  • Not currently taking any antidepressant medications
