"Pay" parking citations with cereal and milk

Parking and Transportation is gearing up for the fall 2022 Donation for Citations campaign. This program offers eligible citations to be paid with food items which are donated to our University of Arizona Campus Pantry. If you receive a citation from University of Arizona Parking and Transportation Services during the timeframe of 10/24/22-11/4/22, you are eligible to participate.

How it works:

Eligible Citations:

$50-$60 Citation Fines

Bring  (1x) 19 oz Cereal Box AND (1x) 32 oz Non-refrigerated milk soy or almond beverage boxes

$85-$95 Citation Fines

Bring (2x) 19 oz Cereal Box AND (2x) 32 oz Non-refrigerated milk soy or almond beverage boxes

  1. Go to parking.arizona.edu.
  2. Click on "Appointment Booking" and schedule an office appointment. No purchase form is required.
  3. Bring the sealed donations with you to your appointment.
  4. Our customer service staff will take the donation as payment for the citation.
  5. Keep the food donations receipt for your records.

 "We are very happy to be able to partner with Campus Pantry again to raise awareness about food insecurity and provide much needed food supplies because of our bi-annual Donation for Citations campaign. Our mission at Parking & Transportation Services is to help make everyone on campus successful and we hope our contribution will help our Wildcats do just that," said Jim Sayre, executive director of PTS. Last year, over 2,150 pounds of food were collected in the spring and fall semesters.
