Starlight Science Cinema presents "The Day After Tomorrow" on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 6-10 p.m.

Join the College of Science and the Department of Geosciences for a free showing of the blockbuster movie "The Day After Tomorrow" (PG-13) and watch Jake Gyllenhaal and Dennis Quaid battle civilization-destroying extreme weather events.

The showing will be preceded by a brief presentation by University of Arizona climatologist Julia Cole. A panel of experts will answer any and all questions you have about the facts of the movie or the exciting science research being done at the UA.

Bring flashlights, blankets and chairs for fun for the whole family! Snacks for sale; proceeds support University of Arizona clubs.
