The Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association offers opportunities for our members and the public to share in the joy and excitement of astronomy through observing, education and fun. We hold monthly meetings which often feature UA astronomers. We have two sites away from city lights for our members to use. We offer star parties and astronomy activities to schools, church groups, scout troops, and convention groups. This includes star parties for undergraduates enrolled in astronomy classes offered by Steward Observatory. We have an active informal education program and participate in many community STEM-related events. Visit our website for more information and check out our Facebook page to attending our live meetings.

Meeting Location

Steward Observatory Lecture Hall, Room N210, or online through our Facebook page. Please check our website to assure we’re meeting in person.

Meetup Date / Time

First Friday each month at 7:30 p.m. (unless it lands on Jan. 1 or July 4)
