Appointed personnel are invited to learn more about the University's vision and plans, ask questions, and voice thoughts and concerns during a discussion with President Robert N. Shelton on Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Gallagher Theater.

Executive Vice President and Provost Meredith Hay and Vice President for Human Resources Allison Vaillancourt will join Shelton at the forum.

"We are in a time of change at the University, which affects all Appointed Professionals," said Carol Beltran, chair of the appointed professionals Advisory Council. "APAC's primary role is to serve as the voice of appointed professionals by advising the University's administration on matters that concern us and taking an active role in shared governance. Many appointed professionals have expressed concern about a variety of strategic and budgetary issues. The forum is a tremendous opportunity for us to have a meaningful dialogue with the president, share perspectives, and work together in a positive way."

Forum participants will also learn more about APAC's mission and goals for 2008-09.
