From capitalism to Klingon: Learn online with discounted SBS community classes

University employees can take both in-person and online noncredit courses through the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Community Classroom Program at a 30% discount.

"The world around us continues to intrigue, fascinate and grow ever more complex," said Maribel Alvarez, the college's associate dean for community engagement. "We are pleased to offer an opportunity for members of our campus community to sit with expert faculty in the social sciences to ponder, debate and analyze how we respond collectively to these challenges."

Course descriptions are below.

Consequences of Capitalism | Jan. 13-March 3

The Pottery of Mata Ortiz | March 18-April 8
