University administrators have requested the early release of employees on the main campus next week to accommodate increased traffic for a weekday football game.

Arizona will host the University of Colorado Boulder on Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m.

"In order to free up parking and minimize traffic on this game day, we ask that main Tucson campus supervisors arrange for as many employees and students as possible to work from home after 12:30 p.m., while ensuring that the work of the University proceeds," Jeffrey Goldberg, interim senior vice president of academic affairs and provost, wrote in a message to campus.

Supervisors will be allowed to offer University Release time at a later date for employees who are required to stay on campus. Afternoon classes on the main campus will not be canceled, but faculty may adjust their class schedules.

For more information about the early release, visit the Division of Human Resources website or email hrsolutions@email.arizona.edu. For more information about special parking and transportation considerations, see this notice or call Parking & Transportation Services at 520-626-7275.
