Employees Have Until May 1 to Renew Season Tickets Online


Faculty and staff with season football tickets or priorty seatiing basketball season tickets must renew their football tickets or Wildcat Club memberships online by May 1 to avoid losing seats or club benefits.
Football season ticket holders can renew their tickets on the Arizona Athletics Web site. Men's basketball ticket holders who belong to the Wildcat Club are also asked to renew their priority amount – an annual contribution made to Arizona Athletics to ensure priority seating and Wildcat Club benefits – online.
All UA employees must renew online. Season ticket holders who renew by Feb. 28 will receive a $15 Arizona Athletics gift certificate.
The Arizona football team will enter the 2009 season with seven returning starters on each side of the ball, including All-American tight end Rob Gronkowski. Arizona finished the 2008 season ranked No. 16 in scoring offense (36.6 points per game) and No. 24 in total defense (313 yards per game).
The Wildcats will host six games in Arizona Stadium, where they have posted a 9-4 record over the past two seasons. On the home slate will be a season-opening showdown on Sept. 5 against Central Michigan of the Mid American Conference, a program that has made three consecutive bowl appearances. Arizona will host its intrastate rival, Northern Arizona, on Sept. 12 before entering the home conference schedule.
Conference rivals Stanford (Oct. 17), UCLA (Oct. 24), Washington State (Nov. 7) and Oregon (Nov. 21) will travel to Tucson.
