The University Career Architecture Project team will hold four town hall meetings in November to help employees understand the University's redesigned job and compensation system.

On Oct. 29, employees in positions that fall under UCAP received their placement results letters, which provide their official job title, their level within their specific job family and function, and the pay grade that applies to their job.

The town halls will give employees the opportunity to ask UCAP team members and others from Human Resources questions they may have about:

  • Their placement results.
  • Career architecture and compensation fundamentals.
  • The position mapping process and data.
  • The new University Staff employment category.

Capacity is limited, so employees are asked to register soon. For those unable to attend in person, the Main Campus town hall on Nov. 7 will be livestreamed. In addition, the recording will be made available on the UCAP website.

Employees also are invited to submit questions. The project team will update the FAQ section with responses to questions that are received.

About UCAP

UCAP was launched in 2017 to support employee career progression, provide market-informed data for pay decisions and create a more cohesive culture for all employees by replacing the current classified staff and appointed professional categories of employment with a single employment category called university staff.
