Several UA Youth Summer Camps Still Open for Registration

Looking to involve your kids in some fun and exciting experiences this summer? It's not too late to sign them up for a summer camp at The University of Arizona.

The UA offers a huge variety of summer camps for kids in grades 1-12. From the athletic to the educational, the University has a camp for just about every area of interest, and several offer discounts to University faculty and staff.

Below is a list of camps that are still registering participants:

"A" Camp at the Campus Recreation Center

Certified child care program designed to improve the fundamental skills of children ages 5-12. Activities will include games, court sports, fitness activities, arts and crafts, educational sessions and swimming. Discount offered to UA employees.

Arizona Youth University
Includes a variety of innovative and engaging programs for youth in grades 3-12. Offered by the UA Office of Continuing Education and Academic Outreach in conjunction with other UA departments.

DigiDudes and TechDivas at the Eller College of Management
Technology classes designed for boys and girls in grades 2-4. DigiDudes features technology exercises that appeal to boys while TechDivas features exercises that appeal to girls. Both camps feature technology basics. UA employees receive a $25 discount.

UA Computer Camp
Offers lessons in game and Web design, video game creation, game modding and comic creation. UA employees receive a $25 discount.

Mike Stoops Football Camps
Camps are supervised by the Arizona coaching staff and other coaches from around the U.S.

Teaches fundamental baseball skills.

Lute Olson Wildcat Basketball Camps

Camps are for children in elementary, junior high and high school and cover ball-handling, defense, jump shooting and more.
