Vote to Rename Cellar Restaurant

The campus community is being asked to vote on a new name for the Cellar restaurant in the Student Union Memorial Center.
The restaurant, formerly with a burger joint feel, was transformed into a healthy eatery this fall in response to student feedback, said Nick Adamakis, director of marketing for Arizona Student Unions.
The revamped menu includes offerings such as free-range, hormone-free and antibiotic-free meats, organic vegetables and fresh fruit. The restaurant's interior was also redesigned and updated with new booths and furniture.
Students and employees of The University of Arizona submitted more than 200 names for the new restaurant in a naming contest that started in the beginning of the semester. The Student Union Advisory Committee has narrowed the choices down to three: Green Underground Eats, Fresco Honest Eats and Cellar Bistro.
Campus community members can vote for their favorite name and restaurant logo by visiting http://www.union.arizona.edu/cellarvote. A UA NetID is required to vote, and the voting deadline is Dec. 10. The restaurant will officially take on the winning name next semester.
