It's Time for 'The Talk'

Life & Work Connections
September 15, 2020

Do you feel nervous when you think about asking your loved ones what they want to happen – medically, legally or financially – if they can no longer speak for themselves? A little preparation can help you to approach that life-planning conversation with compassion and confidence – and to consider your own wishes as well.

On Thursday, Sept. 17, from noon to 12:30 p.m., dependent care advisor Eileen Lawless, MSW, at Life & Work Connections will offer guidance and share resources for discussing life-planning decisions in the debut presentation of the "Time for 'The Talk'" workshop.

This workshop begins with a 30-minute live introduction and continues with two on-demand videos explaining health care advance directives and financial and legal advance directives. Worksheets will accompany each of the videos.

Register for “Time for ‘The Talk’” today!
