Effective August 28, 2018, the University of Arizona has a new Intellectual Property Policy, enacted to align with revisions to the Arizona Board of Regents' (ABOR) Intellectual Property Policy. Importantly, whereas ABOR policy claims ownership of course and instructional materials, the UA policy grants the creators of these materials a license to use them for personal benefit.
You can view the full UA policy at http://policy.arizona.edu/research/intellectual-property-policy [1], and the ABOR policy on which the UA policy is founded at https://public.azregents.edu/Policy%20Manual/6-908-Intellectual%20Property%20Policy.pdf [2].
