2019 Economics Summer Teacher Institute

The Arizona K-12 curriculum standards on social sciences have been revised once again, and the UA Department of Economics is stepping forward to help teachers with a summer institute on teaching the personal financial education portion of the economics requirement. If a family member or friend teaches social studies, economics, CTE, or math, let them know!

The program will run June 10-14 and is open to middle and high school teachers in Arizona public, charter, and private schools. There is no fee for the program, and attendance earns 30 professional development hours.
