Date: Jun 17, 2021

Along with providing ongoing solutions for the University’s Vaccine POD, the team here at Parking & Transportation Services has been busy over the last few months preparing for the University community’s Fall 2021 return to campus.

Whether you have been working on campus throughout the pandemic, are soon beginning your transition back to the office after a reprieve of more than a year from your daily commute, or will remain working in a hybrid/remote setting – we are honored to continue to support you in our collective efforts towards our research and education mission.

To help you adapt to the "new normal," we have two new options for employees who plan to continue remote work, but will need occasional parking on campus. We have also clarified the parking permit renewal process for those employees who turned in their permits during the pandemic.

Check out the information below and then visit Parking & Transportation Services website to set up your preferred option. Our customer relations team, led by Letty Villasenor and Diana Moreno, are available at PTS-ParkingInformation@email.arizona.edu or (520) 626-7275 for any additional questions.

Interested in Remote-work Occasional Parking?

We heard your feedback about only needing parking on campus intermittently and have created the following options:

Phoenix Biomedical Campus Options

Returned your parking permit and would like to renew?

Many employees returned their parking permit since they were not returning to campus. For those of you who canceled but would like to renew for your original location prior to the pandemic, your permit is now available for purchase. Click on this link for instructions on how to purchase. If you would like to change your assigned parking location, review the 2021-2022 parking Program Changes prior to making your waitlist location decision, and then place yourself on an available waitlist. If you are assigned that location, we will send you further instructions. For information on how to place yourself on a waitlist, please see our Parking Account Portal Manual.

Have a current permit and received a 2021-2022 Renewal Notification?

For those employees who received a renewal email on May 4 or May 10 with instructions on how to purchase their parking assignment for 2021-2022, you are all set! Ensure you purchase by the deadline date of July 1 or July 2 to maintain your parking assignment. If you do not wish to purchase a permit, simply do nothing and the system will cancel your permit by the deadline date. If you would like to change your assigned parking location, place yourself on an available waitlist and if you are assigned that location, we will send you further instructions. For information on how to place yourself on a waitlist, please see our Parking Account Portal Manual.
