University of Arizona faculty and staff will now have access to the latest Adobe Creative Cloud software tools and applications thanks to a new three-year enterprise license with Adobe. Creative Cloud software allows users to design, share and publish content with graphic design, photography, web development and audiovisual editing tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Acrobat Pro is included within this license.

Adobe Creative Cloud will be released in phases to IT departments, faculty and staff on campus.

Available Now:

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro is free and available for download by faculty and staff from the Softwarelicense website.
  • The full Adobe Creative Cloud suite is available for home use on two personal devices by UA faculty and staff for a fee of $9.99/year. Students and retirees are not eligible. Visit to subscribe. See the Adobe FAQs for information on system requirements.

Coming Soon:

  • Free Creative Cloud UA accounts will be available to faculty and staff for use at work in January 2016. University Information Technology Services is working to create software download packages.
  • Free Creative Cloud will also be also available for University-owned machines, such as student labs.

The Adobe campus license agreement was negotiated and paid for by Student Affairs and Enrollment Management/Academic Initiatives and Student Success and the Office of the CIO to provide cost savings to UA departments.
