Notice of Adoption of Revised Policy

Pursuant to the University Policy-Making Policy, the following action is proposed:

ADOPTION OF REVISIONS TO THE RESPONDING TO ALLEGATIONS OF RESEARCH MISCONDUCT POLICY

SUMMARY:

This policy defines research misconduct and the scope of allegations of research misconduct that will be considered under the policy. The associated procedures detail how the University responds to allegations of research misconduct.

The approved revisions to the policy update the previous "Investigations of Misconduct in Scholarly, Creative, and Research Activities Policy." The approved revisions rename the policy, streamline, clarify, and simplify the Policy, and reduce faculty burden. The procedures are decoupled from the policy.
