Subject: AnyConnect VPN upgrade Sunday, Nov. 20

If you use the University of Arizona VPN (virtual private network) to create a secure connection to the campus network, please note: This Sunday, Nov. 20, from 7:30 p.m.-11 p.m., UITS will be upgrading the Cisco AnyConnect software, which allows your computer to connect to the University of Arizona VPN. The AnyConnect upgrade corrects connection and performance issues. 

The next time you connect to VPN after the upgrade, you will experience a pause while the new version automatically downloads and installs. Then you will see a pop-up notification to restart your computer to use the upgraded version. You may decline, continue your current VPN session, and restart at a later time.
