Institute Overview

This program demonstrates the University's commitment to enhancing the capacity of current and emerging leaders. The curriculum consists of an academic year-long series of workshops, individual self-assessments, and collaborative discussions led by national leadership development experts.

Since its launch in 2010, nearly 250 faculty and staff, including department heads, senior administrators, and other campus leaders, have attended the Institute and have praised the experience in the highest possible terms. A significant number of Institute Fellows have been tapped to lead key projects and promoted into new leadership roles, and many point to the Institute as enabling these new opportunities.
