'Art Sprouts' Summer Program for Children

University of Arizona Museum of Art
May 16, 2013

The University of Arizona Museum of Art announces "Art Sprouts," a fun storytime and art-making event for children ages 2 to 5 years. Children will read a story, explore priceless works of art, move their bodies, and make hands-on activities. The programs are designed to not only inspire, but to also foster the cognitive, fine, and gross motor skills that are essential to child development. Art Sprouts is a great bonding experience for families. Let's inspire the new generation of art lovers!

"Art Sprouts" programs will take place on:

Wednesday, May 29 at 10:00 am - "Line, Shapes, and “Oops”!"

Wednesday, June 19 at 10:00 am - "Spaces and Places!"

Wednesday, July 17 at 10:00 am - "What does a face say?"

Each program is open to all and free with regular museum admission of $5/adults.  Free museum admission for children and students, UA employees & UAMA members.
