Benefits open enrollment begins Oct. 31. To help you learn more about your benefits options, the Arizona Department of Administration and the Division of Human Resources are hosting a virtual expo.

Date: Thursday, Oct. 27

Time: 9-10:30 a.m.

Where: Zoom videoconference (Recording will be posted)

Register now. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

How to prepare for the expo

Review your current benefits (University Benefits tile in UAccess) alongside your benefits options (Benefits page). Questions to ask yourself:

  • Is your chosen medical plan right for your current situation? What about your future situation?
  • What changes in family, medical needs and life milestones might affect your other benefits choices (e.g., short-term disability, life insurance)?
  • Does your current health insurance carrier include your preferred providers as in-network?
  • Have you explored flexible spending accounts? Do you know how much an FSA could lower your taxable income?
  • If you have a domestic partner, have you considered the University's Alternative Health Plan options?

Please note: No action is required* during this year's open enrollment unless you want to change your benefits or contribute to a flexible spending account in 2023.

*Some changes to the Alternative Health Plan's dental coverage will require action from some participants. Instructions will be emailed to affected employees.
