The Department of Psychology's Behavioral Health Clinic is offering scientifically validated outpatient therapy to individuals at low cost via telehealth during the 2020 fall and spring semesters.

The BHC serves as a training center for advanced psychology trainees and is dedicated to providing the highest quality treatments for our patients while providing training for the Psychology Department's Clinical Psychology graduate students as they learn evidence-based psychological treatments. All therapists are closely supervised by licensed clinical psychologists who have expertise in the delivery of evidence-based treatments.

The BHC assists people who are struggling with emotional difficulties including treating depression and anxiety as well as helping people learn to cope with stress and manage difficult life circumstances. Treatment services are designed to provide effective psychological care in a compassionate environment. BHC therapists utilize evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which are scientifically supported treatments for anxiety, depression and other emotional difficulties. You can learn more about the services the BHC provides online.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all psychology services are currently offered via telehealth for the safety of our patients and therapists. Telehealth appointments are hosted on a secure HIPAA-compliant video conference program. Appointments generally cost $25 per session.

Individuals interested in learning more or scheduling an appointment can fill out a patient interest survey. After completing the survey, a clinician will follow up by phone to discuss the clinic options.
