Dear UA undergraduate and graduate students,

The Biomedical Engineering Society is pleased to welcome all of you to participate in the inaugural Global Health Competition! Compete with an interdisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions for 21st Century global-health issues.

The competition occurs March 18th-25th, when teams will receive a current dilemma facing global health and work to identify novel solutions. Teams will present their solutions on March 25th to a panel of distinguished judges. Team prizes include $100 for 1st place and $50 for 2nd place.

Register as a team or individual by March 1st to join us for this unique opportunity to compete with graduate and undergraduate students from multiple disciplines!

Learn specific details by attending one of our information sessions:

  • Wednesday, January 17th, from 12:00pm-1:00pm in the Tubac Room of the Student Union Memorial Center (4th floor)
  • Thursday, January 18th, from 12:00pm-1:00pm in the Tubac Room of the Student Union Memorial (4th floor)
