We are sending out a call for community leaders for a new PhD student peer mentoring community program!

We are looking for first generation and BIPOC Ph.D. candidates (who have successfully passed their comprehensive exams in any college) to participate in a yearlong (Spring 2023-Fall 2023) pilot program that includes mentorship training/community leader meetings, video trainings, monthly networking and professional development lunches/dinners, and leading monthly small peer mentoring community meetings.  

The time commitment for students is approximately 3-7 hours per month, and the benefits include professional development, skill building and connection with other first generation and BIPOC graduate students. Participants will also receive a stipend of $500 a semester!

The deadline to apply is Feb. 17 at 5 p.m.
