Campus Inventors and Entrepreneurs: Move Your Technology Forward With an NSF I-Corps Grant

Tech Launch Arizona
April 24, 2018

You might have a great technology that you think will make a great product, but do you have a business plan? Have you considered who will actually purchase your product? The NSF I-Corps program at TLA prepares UA inventors and researchers to take their ideas beyond the laboratory and increase the impact of their work.

Each participating team receives up to $3,000 in grant funding for customer discovery, and teams receive 6 sessions of training in the "Lean Launch" method, all delivered by experienced entrepreneurs and instructors from the UA McGuire Entrepreneurship program.

Now in its third year, the program has already provided education and funding to over 70 teams. Check out this short video to hear about the experience from some of our most recent teams.

The next I-Corps cohort course begins May 16.

The application is simple and brief, but the deadline is coming fast: Applications for the next cohort are due May 2.
