Subject: Campus Traffic Impact During Spring Fling, April 8-16
Date: Apr 02, 2019

Spring Fling is the largest student-run carnival in the nation and fundraises for more than 40 campus clubs and organizations each year. We want to make sure the campus community receives complete information about the event and is properly informed of impact of the Spring Fling setup on campus.

In addition, we would like to alert the campus community to traffic restrictions and general campus changes that will occur from Monday, April 8 at 6 a.m. until Tuesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. University Boulevard (on the UA Mall) will be closed between Cherry Avenue and Campbell Avenue in order for Spring Fling to begin configuring the event area. Temporary fencing will be setup on this portion of the Mall for the entirety of the closure.

HOTLINE

Our hotline will be active starting Monday, April 8 at 8 a.m., but otherwise the number directs to our office. We greatly appreciate the flexibility and support the Tucson and campus communities have shown Spring Fling. After 45 years, there's still nothing else like it!
