COVID-19 Rapid Tests Now Available at the Campus Health Pharmacy

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced that the program for ordering free at-home COVID-19 tests will be suspended on Friday, Sept. 2. More information is available at covid.gov/tests.

QuickVue COVID-19 rapid tests are now available at the Campus Health Pharmacy. 1 box includes 2 tests for $23.99 plus tax. Results take just 10 minutes. COVID-19 rapid tests are great to have on hand for family, if you are traveling, or to re-test following an isolation period. You may submit the receipt to your insurance plan for reimbursement if eligible.

COVID-19 Testing Options on Campus:

TakeAway Testing
Free and convenient COVID-19 PCR testing is available for all students, faculty, staff and designated campus colleagues (DCCs) with NetIDs on main campus and other locations. Find a location to pick up and drop off a sample.

Using TakeAway Testing? Follow these 3 steps:

  1. Make sure you are registered for TakeAway (PCR) Testing.
  2. Update your contact information if your address or phone number has changed.  
  3. Remember to register your TakeAway test tube sample before you drop it off so you can get your results. 

Note: TakeAway test results cannot be used for international travel requirements.

Talk with a Campus Health Provider

If you have COVID-19 symptoms, please call Campus Health at 520-621-9202 before you come in. For appointments with one of Campus Health’s medical providers, there will be a visit/copay charge. Campus Health will secure payment at the time of service and bill insurance plans with which we are contracted or directly to the patient. Coverage of the cost varies by insurance company and plan.

COVID-19 Vaccines

COVID-19 vaccines and boosters are available for free at Campus Health for all University students, benefits-eligible employees, and designated campus colleagues (DCCs). You can make an appointment for your COVID-19 vaccine today.  

Campus Health is one of many locations to receive your COVID-19 vaccination. If you’re in Tucson, you can receive your vaccine at several locations across Pima County. If you’re outside of Tucson, you can find COVID-19 vaccine locations near you at vaccines.gov
