The Office of Research, Innovation and Impact (RII) has formed a COVID-19 Research Coordination Group interested in pursuing research initiatives on coronavirus and/or assisting with state and local community efforts to prevent, contain and/or surveil COVID-19. This initiative will be spearheaded by Dr. Jeff Burgess, professor and associate dean for research in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, and the group will teleconference Thursdays at 1pm.  

For more information on research-specific COVID-19 announcements, please visit RII's COVID webpage, which also lists funding opportunities from NSF, NIH, BARDA, the CDC, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The webpage is updated as new funding opportunities are announced.
