The University of Arizona is delaying the start of classes by two days to Wednesday, March 18, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The University of Arizona issued the following messages on March 11:

  • Campuswide message from President Robert C. Robbins on delaying the start of classes following spring recess.
  • Message to faculty from Provost Liesl Folks regarding the COVID-19 campus mitigation plan.
  • Message to students from Provost Liesl Folks regarding the COVID-19 campus mitigation plan for online instruction.
  • Message to university staff from Provost Liesl Folks about the COVID-19 campus mitigation plan for teaching and travel.
  • Message to faculty and staff from Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation Betsy Cantwell and Provost Liesl Folks regarding the COVID-19 campus mitigation plan for research operations.
