Co-sponsored by the College of Medicine – Tucson and Banner Health, Doc Talks is a free lecture series for the Tucson community. The evening event kicks off at 5 p.m. with a free wellness fair. Light refreshments will be provided. Presentations by leading physicians begin at 6 p.m.

Meet our experts:

Heather Cassell, MD, is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics. A trained allergist and immunologist, Dr. Cassell specializes in asthma, food allergies and skin conditions like atopic dermatitis and direct dermatitis.

Serign Marong, MD, is a faculty physician in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Dr. Marong’s interests include family and sports medicine, as well as primary care and working with underserved populations.

Kathy Smith, MD, is an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Smith specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry, perinatal mood disorders and working with transgender and non-conforming youth. She also teaches medical students at the College of Medicine – Tucson.
