The Cooper Center for Environmental Learning and the Campus Sustainability Fund have teamed up to plan a free (and fun!) Earth Day event for University of Arizona students, faculty, staff and families. The event will be held on Saturday, April 22nd from 4pm to 8pm at Camp Cooper, located 20 minutes west of main campus. It will feature hands-on activities, live animal demonstrations, music from the band Kyklo, delicious food provided by Midtown Vegan Deli and a very special guest speaker: University of Arizona alum Dr. Earyn McGee, aka The Afro Herper, and creator of #FindThatLizard.
