Final UAConnect Accounts Scheduled for Migration

University Information Technology Services
November 7, 2017

The UAConnect365 project is entering its final phase of email/calendar migration for faculty and staff.

• Over 22,000 mailboxes have successfully migrated to Office 365.

• The final batches that were scheduled by department IT staff are currently syncing and will complete migration by 11/10.

• Remaining accounts will start migrating Sunday night, 11/12. Completions for these will happen during the weeks of 11/13 or 11/27. Support for mobile devices will be available. See below.

• QuickHelp online training modules are available through December 2017. Learn more about Office 365!

If your UAConnect email/calendar account has not migrated yet, or is not scheduled to complete before 11/10, your migration will complete during the weeks of 11/13 or 11/27.

Mobile Support Kiosk

Need assistance with reconfiguring email on your mobile device after migration? IT staff will be available Nov. 13-17 and Nov. 27 to Dec. 1 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Main Library main lobby.

If you forward your UAConnect email to another account and only access it there, you will not need to reconfigure anything. Your forward will be migrated to the new system.

• Do a one-time check in Office 365 after migration to ensure that no email was sent between the time mailbox migration completed and when the forward was copied over.
