The Frances McClelland Institute is dedicated to the memory of Frances McClelland and to advancing collective well-being through excellence in research. The Frances McClelland Vision Award was established to honor a community leader who has made a lifelong commitment to the well-being of children, youth, and families. In 2017, the FMI Advisory Council expanded the Vision Award to include more categories, including the Frances McClelland Community Practitioner Award, the Frances McClelland Partnership Award, the Frances McClelland Youth Vision Award, and the Frances McClelland Youth Group Vision Award.

These awards honor community leaders that embody the strength, dedication, vision and passion that Frances McClelland exhibited throughout her life. We are excited to announce that the following individuals and groups will be honored at this year's Frances McClelland Vision Awards.

Frances McClelland Legacy Vision Award: Dr. Laura Banks-Reed

The Frances McClelland Community Partnership Award: Rev. Alison Harrington

The Frances McClelland Community Practitioner Award: Alvaro Enciso

The Frances McClelland Youth Vision Award: Rosenda "Rosie" Ruelas Castro (Pima Community College), Vishakk Rajendran (BASIS Tucson North), Adriana Noriega (Cholla High School), and Yazmin Almazan (Pueblo High School).
