The Science Program at the Heising-Simons Foundation funds research in four main areas: Women in Physics and Astronomy; Fundamental Physics; Climate Change Science; and Astronomy and Cosmology. In 2018 the Heising-Simons Science program granted 71 awards totaling $22.5 million.
