Risk Management Services is proposing an amendment to the Fleet Safety Policy that would restrict the use of mobile devices while operating University vehicles unless a hands-free device is used. This change is needed to make University policy similar to ordinances adopted in the communities surrounding the main campus, and to enhance safety while driving University vehicles.
