Would you like to improve your students’ research and writing skills by more seamlessly integrating information literacy into your classes? 

We’re offering a 5-day mini-course from September 19-23, for faculty, instructors, and adjunct faculty/instructors on teaching information literacy using inclusive pedagogical practices. Sign up today.

What you need to know

  • Experienced instruction librarians will work with you to develop information literacy-related research and writing assignments for your students. 

  • This mini-course is also a program improvement study to learn more about faculty incorporation of information literacy and collaboration with University Libraries.

  • Participants will receive a $200 stipend for engaging fully with the content and providing feedback. 

  • Application deadline is September 5.

What to expect
Participants can expect to spend 1-2 hours per day exploring content and completing activities in the mini-course. You’ll also spend no more than two additional hours providing feedback through a survey and/or focus group later in the fall semester. 

Faculty should expect to finish the mini-course with a course design plan and new activities to incorporate. 

The mini-course is offered asynchronously in D2L in partnership with University Center for Assessment, Teaching and Technology.
