Invitation: Fourth Annual Youth Symposium on Social Justice & Ethnic Studies
Dear University of Arizona community,
Over 200 middle and high school students from throughout Arizona and beyond will be presenting their research, work and art related to social justice and ethnic studies on Saturday, April 21st, in the Cesar E. Chavez Building. This gathering is organized by Collaborative Research in Action (CRiA).
We would love for you to attend, and if you have kids or work with youth, bring them along!
We're accepting abstracts and presentation descriptions until March 31st.
Last year, we had over 400 elementary, middle and high school students share poetry, plays, songs, stories, and research on themes including women's rights, LGBTQ rights, public health, environmental justice, racism, education, immigration, police violence, and youth rights, to name a few.
You can find more information at the CRiA website.
Thanks,
Gabriel Higuera
