Migration of Remaining Faculty/Staff Email Accounts Set for October

Subject: Migration of Remaining Faculty/Staff Email Accounts Set for October

Date: September 11, 2017

Faculty/staff UAConnect account holders who have not been migrated to UAConnect365 will be scheduled for migration in October. All UAConnect accounts will be migrated to UAConnect365 by late October.

UAConnect365 migration includes all faculty, staff, student workers with Catworks accounts, designated campus colleagues (DCCs), and retirees.

Remaining UAConnect account holders will be contacted with the timeline and details for their migration.



If you forward your UAConnect email to another account and only access it there, you will not need to reconfigure anything. Your forward will be migrated to the new system. 

  • Do a one-time login to Office 365 after migration to ensure that no email was sent between the time mailbox migration completed and when the forward was copied over.

Online Access

Log in to Office 365 at portal.office.com to test whether you will be able to reach your email after migration. See step-by-step instructions.

  • You will need a NetID password that was updated on or after March 6, 2017. Change password, if needed.
  • You will need NetID+ two-factor authentication. Enroll in NetID+, if you haven’t already.
  • You can log in to Office 365 now, to ensure that you will be able to access email after migration.

Migration Preparation

Account holders who have not yet moved should familiarize themselves with the Before and After Migration Instructions. Bookmark this site, to have access after migration.

Update to Outlook 2016 for optimal use of Office 365 email and calendar services with desktop software. More information on updating software.

UAConnect365 Open Forum

Find out more about migration and ask questions of members of the project team.

 Mobile Support Desk

Get help with email and calendar on your mobile device after migration from a support desk to be set up at the Main Library. Check it.arizona.edu/uaconnect365 in October for the dates and times that campus IT professionals will be staffing the support desk.
