Mobile Matters Symposium to Feature App Creators and Developers

Office of the Chief Information Officer
March 27, 2013

Explore your options in the fast-growing field of mobile web and app development with the Spring 2013 Mobile Matters Symposium.

Take advantage of this exciting opportunity to make the Mobile Matters Symposium your personal launching pad into the world of mobile apps!

Who should attend? Students, faculty and staff who want to connect with resources and find the information they need to get their concept off the ground are encouraged to attend. Whether you have an idea for an app but lack the technical know-how, or you are a developer in search for that one creative spark, this is the event for you.

Why attend? Hosted each semester, the Mobile Matters Symposium is half-day event designed to bring together anyone on campus interested in mobile app development, design and/or publication. The first Mobile Matters Symposium, held in September of 2012, produced an exciting turnout of more than 200 attendees, which is only expected to grow as the demand for mobile apps gains momentum on campus and around the globe.

What is Mobile Matters? Mobile Matters is a campus-wide community for all things mobile, whether you are a student, teacher, researcher, developer, designer, ideologist, or consumer. Mobile Matters provides a forum for those interested in mobile development to share ideas, find resources, and learn about best practice approaches.  For more information about Mobile Matters, visit: https://mobilematters.secure.arizona.edu.
