Thank you for being a part of making campus information more secure by using NetID+ when you log in! With all faculty, staff, and students now using two-factor authentication, personal, financial, and other information at the University of Arizona is much more protected from the possibility of being accessed by hackers.

However, be sure you don't get locked out of your information! Set up multiple options for logging in with NetID+ as a backup, especially with the holidays coming up. Logins in the classroom, working from home, traveling, no access to your first login method – these are all situations that might require a different login method.

Set up additional options for NetID+ at netid-plus.arizona.edu.

ACADEMIC TECHNOLOGIES NETID+ REQUIREMENT

As of December 14, if you use one of these technologies* during class, you will need to authenticate with NetID+. Classroom computers will not necessarily work with "Remember me for 30 days," so be sure you have an option to authenticate in class!

*D2L, Zoom, Panopto, Turning Technologies (Clickers), Examity, VoiceThread, Credly

FAST LOGINS

Check "Remember me for 30 days" to reduce the need for the second step on your computer.

Duo app: Adding the Duo app to your smartphone or tablet makes completing logins easy! Just tap the green checkmark to get in.

YubiKey: Keep a small YubiKey token on your keychain. Insert it into your computer's USB port and press the YubiKey button to authenticate. Get a YubiKey in the UA BookStore, or from Amazon or other retailers.

If you need help with the initial setup of the Duo app or YubiKey, your IT staff or the 24/7 IT Support Center would be happy to assist.

BACKUP OPTIONS

Text: One text gives you ten codes to use for logins.

Bypass Codes: Log into netid-plus.arizona.edu and go to "Manage Your Account." Click the "Print Bypass Codes" button for ten codes that you can print or write down and keep in your wallet for those times you're stuck without your other login methods.
