You're Invited to a New Professional Development Series – UA Leads!

Build your personal leadership skills and transform your career with UA Leads, a new professional development program created for UA employees.

Engage with relevant topics designed just for you. Consume digital content on demand and have in-person conversations with experts during a mix of interactive speaker series, workshops and guided book discussions.

Key topics this year include creative problem-solving, disruptive thinking, building influence and persuasion, and learning how to make your voice be heard in an impactful way. Each month's content focuses on applicable skills, and results in tools and strategies you can use to change your habits and transform your perspective.

UA Leads is presented by the Office of Leadership and Organizational Development, a unit within the Division of Human Resources.

Join us for the first session – Creating the Workplace We Want – this Thursday, October 11, from 2-3:30 p.m. in Old Main, Silver and Sage Room.

Register to attend.

In this highly interactive kick-off session, Office of Leadership and Organizational Development facilitators Diane Brennan and Julie Forster help you focus on creating a positive workplace culture.

Highlights from the session include:

  • Defining what a good environment looks like
  • Building skills for having better conversations and providing timely feedback
  • Incorporating appreciation and gratitude into your workflow
  • Identifying actionable steps to help you create the workplace you want
