New Requirements for Hotel Bookings and Change to Marriott University Park Hotel

The Tucson University Park Hotel, formerly Marriott University Park Hotel, did not renew its franchise agreement with Marriott earlier this month. Guests who stay there are not able to earn Marriott loyalty rewards. 

For departments that entered into a booking or event agreement prior to March 2017, your agreement is still valid.

If departments booked on a purchase order, please contact either a buyer in Purchasing or a representative at the hotel as their new operating system does not allow them to hold a room account open with a balance.

The hotel has signed the University's Master Hotel Agreement and has agreed to pre-negotiated terms. A sample of the agreement is available at http://pacs.arizona.edu/contracting_hotels. Any bookings made with any hotels on our site should follow the "Hotel Addendum Templates – Procedures" as outlined on the site.
