Following two-and-a-half days of meetings with numerous constituency and stakeholder groups, including administrators, faculty, appointed personnel, staff, students, and community members, the Search Advisory Committee has now collated your responses and used that information to prepare a list of desired qualifications and characteristics for the open position of Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. The Search Advisory Committee is now soliciting nominations from all members of the university community for this important leadership position. The Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost serves as the university’s chief academic officer and works directly with the President in crafting the University’s vision and carrying out its mission. If you know of a qualified individual who should be considered for this position – whether on the UA campus or at another institution – please send their name and institutional affiliation to the search firm, Storbeck/Pimentel and Associates, at the following address: arizona@storbeckpimentel.com. Formal letters of nomination are not required.

Upon review, qualified nominees will be contacted and asked to submit applications.  Review of those applications will commence immediately and continue until the position is filled.  Nominations and applications will be held in strict confidence.
