All University employees have one extra week to support their favorite charities and programs through payroll deductions through the UA Cares Workplace Giving Campaign. Our campaign Honorary Chair, Dr. Joellen Russell, challenges each of us to enroll in a $5 deduction to the charity or program of our choice before 5 p.m. on Nov 11.

Together we have raised $160K to support more than 200 charitable recipients and supported more than 100 community service projects. Enroll in a deduction today to maximize our impact and pay it forward for others.

How to Enroll

Schedule a one-time donation or set up a recurring payroll deduction through UAccess (look for the UA Cares tile on employee homepage) before the deadline: Friday, Nov. 11, at 5 p.m.

Gifts can go to:

  • Any 501(c)(3) nonprofit through the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona.
  • Any University department, college, program or initiative through the University of Arizona Foundation.

Payroll deductions will begin in January and automatically conclude in December 2023.

You must enroll in this year's campaign to continue a current payroll deduction for the next year.
